Louisville & Nashville Line | December 2025

The Louisville & Nashville Railroad was born March 5, 1850, when it was granted a charter by the Commonwealth of Kentucky “...to build a railroad between Louisville, Kentucky, and the Tennessee state line in the direction of Nashville. Join us this month we will drift along the heart of Appalachia, across the Bluegrass Region, and through the Western Coal Field on the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. We will hop a boxcar in Memphis, Tennessee and float through Tennessee, Kentucky,and West Virginia visiting our favorite “Hash Houses” and “Greasy Spoons” along the way. From the Gates of Graceland, to the Grand Ole Opry, through the Bluegrass Horse Farms, and along the Coal Fields of Appalachia, natural wonders and culinary delights will keep you entertained for the month of December.
